With FoneYam insurance cover*, you get extra peace of mind, at no cost to you. FoneYam will be insured against your Death, Disability, Loss of Income or should your device be Lost or Stolen.
How do I submit a claim?
For Death, Disability or Loss of Income claims, email claims@foneyam.co.za or give our contact centre a call on 0860 900 900.
For Lost or Stolen Device claims you must report your device as lost or stolen at the nearest police station. Complete an affidavit that includes: Your full name and surname, ID or Passport number, Contract Cellphone number, IMEI number of the device, SAPS case number and a brief description of the incident. Ensure a copy of your ID or Passport is certified. Email them to claims@foneyam.co.za. For further assistance, contact our call centre on 0860 900 900.
What happens once the claim is approved?
When the Death, Disability or Loss of Income claim is approved, you will no longer have to continue paying your contract.
Once the Lost or Stolen Device claim is approved, you will receive a replacement device**, and you will continue with your contract.
